Willie L Humphreys

Willie Lucille Humphreys, died March 8, 2020. She was born the daughter of the late Lawrence and Annie (Raper) Emerling in Chattanooga. She retired from Signal Apparel and Hamilton County Government and was a member of Local ILGWU. Willie was an active member of Red Bank Calvary Baptist and enjoyed gardening and taking trips with her church. She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Couch and Kenneth Couch. She is survived by her children: William Couch, Charles Hall, Joyce Cantrell and Nancy Hall as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family and friends. Willie will be sorely missed and always remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday March 11, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 12, 2020 in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
