Weldon Golden

Weldon Lee Golden, 66, of Chattanooga, born October 4, 1954 entered his heavenly home Tuesday, February 23, 2021 forever to be made whole. Weldon is proceeded in death by his lifelong friends whom he cherished dearly, Kenny Byers and James Ping known as Mr. Ping. Those left to cherish Weldon’s memory are Mr. Ken and Betty White, the loving and dedicated staff of ProLex Medical Services and RHA Health Services, and a host of friends who are all more like family to Weldon. Weldon carried an infectious smile that could light up the room and very kind eyes. Often times Weldon could be very funny with a good sense of humor when around those he loved. You could find Weldon enjoying time on his patio where it was peaceful and calming, watching cartoons especially Sponge Bob, or hiding under his favorite blanket which brought him great comfort. Weldon never missed his naps throughout the day or the chance to spend time alone just relaxing when not spending time with his staff who he grew to love and cherish. In addition to Weldon’s friends and family, a very special Thank You to Jammie Killian with Community Network Services and John Woodall with Comcare for supporting Weldon through the years. Visitation will be 12-2pm Friday, February 26, 2021 with a service to follow at 2pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rosalyn Dodson officiating.
