Suzanne Frances Barry

Suzanne “Sue” (Johnson) Barry, 97, of Chattanooga, died peacefully at home on October 9, 2020 after a long illness. Mrs. Barry was a graduate of Tyner High School and was an excellent and avid gardener. She loved quilting, making beautiful jewelry and cooking, which was loved by all she fed over the years. She was a Christian (Methodist), loved our Lord and Savior, and was at peace. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, John C. Barry. Survivors include: daughters, Suzanne (Barry) Ragsdale of Chattanooga and Nanette (Barry) Kordes of Troy, KS; son, John Clifford Barry of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Tish Jackson, Sue Anne Molder, Rebecca Kordes Arnold, Jennifer Molder Kaufman, Tammy Sanders and grandson John C. Barry III and many great-grandchildren. The family is grateful to Hospice of Chattanooga for their excellent care. There will be a private graveside service held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
