Stephen Lee "Stevie" Agnew

Mr. Stephen “Stevie” Lee Agnew, age 68, of Harrison, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022.  Stevie was born August 17, 1953, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James M Agnew, Sr., and Sylvia B. Stephens Agnew.

Stevie was a two time Golden Glove Boxer Champion, four time Tennessee State Wrestling Champion. He is the only person in Tennessee to win a Golden Gloves Boxing Championship, and State Wrestling Championship on the same evening.

In addition to his parents, Stevie was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Shipley

Surviving are his brothers: Jim Agnew (Theresa), Tommy Agnew, and Matt Agnew; nieces and nephews: Jonathan Shipley, Jimmy Agnew, III, Krissy Brooks, Jamie Agnew, Jake Agnew, Jessica Agnew, and Jenny Bird Agnew.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at  11:00 AM  in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
