Robert “Bob” Owen Osborne, 77, passed away on February 4, 2020, at his home on Signal Mountain, following a lengthy illness. Bob was a member of Signal Mountain United Methodist Church. He received his BA Degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and his MA Degree from Scarritt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He retired from Lookout Mountain Peterbilt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen A. and Adre Alderman Osborne; his sister, Irene (Ted) Quate; his sister-in-law, June (W. C.) French and his brother-in-law, Joe Lee.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Judy Stanfield Osborne; sister, Janice (Tom) Harper; sisters-in-law, Gail (Jay) Bryson and Peggy Lee; nephews and nieces.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace with Dr. J. N. Howard and Pastor Caleb Pitkin officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Conn Cemetery in Attalla, Alabama.
