Martha Fry

Ms. Martha Nadine Fry, age 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. 

Martha was born March 20, 1937 in Statesville, North Carolina to the late Dennis and Eleanor Moose. 

In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Steven Fry; and a sister, Carol Hartness.

Surviving are her daughters, Miriam Wade (Tim) and Gayle Massengale (David); sister, Linda Elam; brother, Robert Moose (Antia); grandchildren: Stephanie Cranfill (Hagen), Tiffany Hood (Blake), and Captain Charles “Mickey” Mooney (Mandy); great –grandchildren: Jaiden Wilson, Destanie Wilson, Camdyn Cranfill, Leonidas Mooney, Maggie Mae Mooney, Odysseus Mooney, Katalina Mooney, and Agamemnon Mooney.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 19, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Hagen Cranfill, Camdyn Cranfill, Owen Ray, Tim Wade, David Massengale, and Jaiden Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Lane funeral home.
