Lois Inez Meyer

Lois Meyer, 84, of Decatur Tennessee, passed away on May 12th, 2021. A native of Signal Mountain, Lois was a homemaker for the majority of her life, and she loved to plant and nurture flowers. She loved with all her heart and could make anyone feel important and cared for. She was strong, caring, patient and one of the best people you had the privilege to meet. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. Words could never do justice to how much she was loved in return and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jenny and Art Dyer, Sr.; husband, Clyde Meyer; brothers, Earl and Bill Dyer and Gordon Dyer; and sister, Stella Johnson. Lois is survived by: brother, Art Dyer, Jr.; daughters, Loretta Sanders (Mark Patterson) and Christina Meyer; grandchildren, Martina Fairbanks and M. Hunter Defriese, Chris (Beth) Shaver; great-grandchildren, Franklin Fairbanks, Jr., Chloe Fairbanks, Liam Shelton, Alaina Starkey, Remmick Shaver, Electra Shaver and Leo Shaver as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 1-3pm at Lane Funeral Home with a Graveside service to follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
