Kristi Lyn Jones

Kristi Lyn Jones, 46, passed away May 10, 2018. She was born August 4, 1971 in Columbus, GA. Kristi was a 1989 graduate of GPS and attended Erskine College where she played soccer and softball. She was a server at Rumors for seven years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Jones; grandparents, Jerry Grimes, Mildred Grimes, Mabel Grimes, Harold and Catherine Jones, Agnes and Joe McClendon.

Survivors include her mother, Lyn Grimes Jones, of Phenix City, AL; sister, Betsy Jones Hill (Brent) of Opp, AL; son, Cody Jones of Memphis, TN; niece, McKinley Hill of Opp, AL; nephew, Briggs Hill of Opp, AL; aunt, Marsha Easley of Morristown, TN; aunts and uncles, Lee and Sue Moncrief, of Auburn, AL, Sherry and Melvin Scroggins, Phenix City, AL, Chris and Jan Bankston of Phenix City, AL, and several cousins.

Interment will be 3:00pm Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Rev. Ralph Henderson will officiate. A Celebration of Life service will be held Noon to 5:00pm Sunday May 27, at VFW Post 1289 on Lee Hwy in Chattanooga.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
