Joyce Ann Tucker

Joyce Ann Hawkins Tucker, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away Easter Sunday, April 4st, 2021. She was born February 13, 1940 the daughter of the late, William and Dorothy Levi. Joyce was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed visiting the beaches of Florida. She was a retired and accomplished self-employed seamstress and avid gardener. Joyce will forever be missed and remembered as a loving mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by: parents, first husband, Charles L. Hawkins, second husband, John B. Tucker, children; Shawna (Hawkins) O’Haver and Len Hawkins. She is survived by: son, Steven C. (Larry Varnell) Hawkins, brother, Tommy Levi, grandchildren, Melissa Grimes and Ashley Combs, great-grandchildren, Adrienne Wendel and Rose Grimes., step-daughters, Lynn Baggett and Greta Locklear as well as a host of friends and extended family. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Lane Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Debra Dickerson officiating. Procession thereafter to Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dementia Society of America.
