Emmett Brindle “Johnny” Cochran Tucker, 84, of Chattanooga, died April 5th, 2021 merely one day after his loving wife. Johnny was born March 9, 1937, the son of the late, Emmett A. and Gretel Tucker in Chattanooga. Johnny was a 1955 graduate of Murray County High School and 1960 graduate from the University of Georgia Pharmacy School. Successfully retiring as a pharmacist allowed him to be with his loving wife. He was proceeded in death by his wife Joyce Tucker, parents, a grandson, Bradley Cole. He is survived by, daughters, Olivia Lynn Cochran (Terry) Baggett of Chatsworth, GA and Sharon Greta Cochran Locklear of Chattanooga, TN; and step-son, Steven (Larry Varnell) Hawkins of Chattanooga, TN, granddaughter, Stephanie Cole (Daniel) Busie and great-granddaughter, Addyson Busie of Dalton, GA. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7th 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Lane Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Debra Dickerson officiating. Procession thereafter to Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dementia Society of America.
