Jeannine A Swanger

Jeannine Swanger “NeNe”, 83, went home to be with God on Monday, July 5, 2021. She was born in Signal Hills of Chattanooga, TN. She was a long time resident of Red Bank, where she lived for almost 50 years. Being a single mom, she worked many jobs, managing more than one at a time to support her family on her own. In every position she held, she advanced within the company and was highly regarded within each industry. She retired from Pro-Group, Conoco, and Walmart. Outside of work you could find her at the ball field watching more than one child play at the same time, and you could see her go from one field to the other to support each. She dedicated her life to raising her six wonderful children, Reba (Lloyd) Hamby, Eugene (Deborah) Hart, Bobby (Kim) Hart, Jenny (Tammy) Hart, Ronda (John) Skipper and Sonda (Mike) Wright. Grandchildren are Jeremy Hughes, Jason Hughes, David Hart, Brandon Hart, Tony Hart, Brandy Hart, Debbie Bostic, Ricky Harmon, David Harmon, Jayce Jackson, Landon Jackson, Eden Jackson, Michael Lawrence, Malorie Lawrence, Josh Skipper, Jonathan Skipper, Emma Wright and 12 great-grandchildren. She will forever be known for having an open mind, accepting loving heart, her beautiful hazel eyes and of course for being the most awesome mom ever. She welcomed all who came to her home as part of our family. She brought much love and happiness to all those around her and will forever be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Reverend Jason Brooks officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Hart, Jason Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Michael Lawrence, Jonathan Skipper and Josh Skipper.
