Harold Edward Taylor

Harold Edward Taylor, 59, lifelong resident of Red Bank passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 after a courageous and fierce battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by Daddy (Bill Taylor) and grandparents, Tomie & Ruby (Jennings) Taylor and Martha (Howard) Smith & William Songer.

He is survived by his mom, Clara Songer Taylor; sisters, Beth Frost (Tommy), Lisa Perry (Danny), and Patricia Grayson (Steve); aunts, Gay Smith & Pamela Craig; uncle, Gene Songer and several nieces & nephews and many cousins.

Harold loved fishing, barbequing, and just hanging with friends. He had many great and loyal friends throughout his life. Our family is grateful for his two bonus brothers, Richard Gerald and Ricky Smartt for always being there for him, especially through his last days with us. Harold IS and will be missed greatly.

Rest in Peace Bro. We will be together again. Caw CAW!

Graveside services will be held at Husky Chapel/Jennings Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard time.
