David Paul Bennett

David Paul Bennett of Chattanooga died peacefully at home Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the age of 71. He was born December 7, 1947 in Endicott, New York. He was born to Helen JoAnn (Bogart) & Harold F. Bennett. David worked many careers before choosing to work many years as a flooring installer. He had a passion for living life on the edge, anything for shock factor. He enjoyed many hobbies to include photography, painting and Asian art. He was a collector of knives and guns, very knowledgeable in both. He loved working the flea market booth with Gerald. David will be sadly missed by his daughters Jennifer (Glenn) Dininny and Heather (Octavio) Soares, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Carol Ann Bennett and Mary Ellen Smith, and family. He will be fondly remembered by many special friends here in Chattanooga and in Vestal, New York. We are honoring his wishes of having no funeral or memorial services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or the National Cancer Society.
