Charles Vaden Perry

Charles Vaden Perry passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, having lived a very active life. Charles was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, an Air Force veteran and had a 30 year career in the Chattanooga school system as a teacher, counselor and middle school golf coach As a member of First Presbyterian, he sang in the choir for many years. He was known for his warm smile, passion for life, love of family and follower of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Helen Perry; sister, Velma Mason; sister-in-law, Charlotte Perry; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 30, 2018 at Lane Funeral Home ~ Ashland Terrace with Reverend Chris Ehlers officiating. Visitation is 11:00-1:00 Friday, November 30, 2018. Time of burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery will be announced.
