Carolyn Hull

Carolyn Hull, 80, passed away on Sunday May 19, 2019. Carolyn was born in Greeneville, Tn. on January 1, 1939 to the late Clyde Douglas Hull and Nellie Turner Hull. Carolyn attended Red Bank High School then married and raised her 4 children in Chattanooga. She loved gospel music, gardening and looked forward to every spring and the joy her flowers and garden brought to her. Carolyn was never hesitant to say what was on her mind and was full of life, energy and spunk and never met a stranger. She held several management positions in restaurants and hotels in Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. She retired in 2002 and returned to Chattanooga to be with her children and many grandchildren she so loved. She had 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son James Barker (Lisa), daughters Kim Snyder (John), Pam Conway (Larry) and Sharon Hall. Sister Janet Hull Nealeigh (Robert) and much loved nephews Rob and Doug Nealeigh and many cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 24, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hixson Cemetery.
