Bobbie Dean Blake

Bobbie Dean Heard Blake of Hixson, TN, formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019. Bobbie was born on December 12, 1928, in Dunlap, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Blake, her son, Richard Blake; her parents, Jud and Velma Heard of Dunlap, TN; and four brothers, Charles, Raymond, Carl and Harold Heard.
She is survived by two brothers, Ken Heard of Hixson, TN, and Larry Heard of Calhoun, GA; three sisters, Vivian Long of Orlando, FL, Sandra Leuty of Hixson, TN, and Wanda Runyan of Soddy Daisy, TN; a special brother-in-law, Buddy Leuty; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Special thanks to her nieces, Kim Willis and April Leuty; her nephew, Steve Leuty; and friends, Ahlane Purser and Sherry Webb, whom she referred to as her “Blessings”.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 12:30pm until time of service that will take place at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband.
