Alice Irene Thompson

Alice Arden Thompson, 97, of Chattanooga passed away May 9, 2018. She was born September 17, 1920 in Loudon, TN to the late Lonnie and Nellie Watts Arden. She was a member of 23rd Street Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Thompson her son, James Robert Thompson and granddaughter, Vicki Thompson Yeager.

Survivors include her sons: William “Bill” Thompson (Beverly) the daughter she never had, and Ronnie Thompson; grandchildren: Bill Thompson Jr. (Jenny), Melanie Coker (Stanley), Barry Yeager, Cindy Scagnegatti (Jorge), Allen Thompson (Jennifer); great grandchildren: Zach, Lauren, Clay, Kelsey, Will, Doug, Zanna, Mackenzie, Mya, Olivia; great-great grandchildren: Carmen, Chad, Ty, Emma.

Visitation will be Saturday 1:00pm-2:30pm at Lane Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30pm with pastor William Proctor Officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
